Very moisturising, a bit cleansing.

This is great if you want to wash your hair multiple times a week as it's not stripping at all; however, in my thick curly 3c hair, it really doesn't clean the scalp. I use it when I want to wash my hair mid week or if my hair is on the really dry side.

Fantastic hydrating shampoo for 4c hair

This product was a game changer for me since I started using it just over 2 months. It cleanses and hydrates my hair in one wash without being too harsh and is free from the 'bad' stuff found in some hair products. I highly recommend this product and the As I am Long and Luxe brand.

I had wanted to try AsIAm products for a while having heard nothing but good things about the products but unfortunately I was left extremely disappointed after using this shampoo along with the conditioner. The shampoo didn't only leave my hair extremely dry and brittle but it left me with dry itchy patches on my scalp and behind my ears. I tried the shampoo a second time (on it's own), just to be sure that it was the shampoo causing the reaction, and I was correct. Unfortunately I will not be using any more AsIAm products and I hope no one else experiences the same results that I had.
