I love this sun care protective veil!!  I use it all year round!  It really protects my hair from the sun and gives me confidence that I am doing everything to protect my hair from the elements.  It also gives an amazing shine!!

Great product to know your hair is protected in the sun. I don't have to worry about colour fade, hair damage or dryness. Smells lovely, small enough for your bag and a trusted brand!

Does not protect colour

Very disappointed with this product. Use other Aveda products & love them but this was not good. Used it on holiday recently & my colour faded considerably, despite regular application. Possibly it’s ok to prevent sun damage if your hair isn’t coloured. On my last sun holiday, I used the Philip Kingsley sun/swim protect spray (now discontinued) & that was infinitely better. Will buy the PK swim hair mask next time.

Took the Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil (100ml) on holiday last week and unfortunately although I used it regularly every day, my hair colour has still gone a few shades lighter. It's only quite a small bottle so if you are swimming regularly you would need a bigger bottle. On the plus side, it has quite a nice scent. Probably wouldn't buy again as it didn't really improve the condition and was a bit more expensive compared with other sprays I have tried.

I am really disappointed in this Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil. It doesn't leave a nice feel on your hair. Smells awful and when it is washed out leaves the hair flat and lifeless.
