so many balms bring me out in spots. even though i have dry skin not acne prone skin. it just doesn't like being over occluded. this is so nice, provides a protective layer which does the same job as other thicker creams/balms i've tried. but sinks in and doesn't just transfer to your pillow. also the only thick cream i would consider for day time use. i like the ingredient list too.

I've always suffered with sensitive & eczema prone skin since birth (now 40). Sadly at start of this year I had anaphylaxis following some antibiotics which did not agree with me. My skin went nuts with this & nothing worked - until this range!! I have now been using every morning & evening - touch wood my skin is AMAZING!!!! Have now restocked ready for when I run out. Rich but lightweight?!

Love this moisturiser! It feels rich on the skin but it’s actually quite lightweight and sinks into skin quickly. Helps with dry patches and good for sensitive skin!

I was surprised how good and hydrating this balm was. For dry skin I would say the balm is the best moisturiser as the gel one sinks in too quick for me. Can’t complain at this price point

Great results but not good experience

I really wanted to love this product, and thought the texture would be what it says on the product: a balm. Unfortunately it’s more like porridge (which I guess makes sense since it’s oats lol) and it’s so hard to rub onto your skin. It doesn’t blend easily into your skin and it splits and pills, even after I let my previous layer completely dry out.  I do wake up with really nice moisturised skin the next day but the experience of applying it does put me off from using it.

This product was very luxurious. The packaging is lovely and durable.  The cream was thick and absorbed well on the skin. It is perfect for winter months, especially for very dry skin. I have been using Avveno Calm +Restore face moisturiser for around 2 weeks now & have seen a big difference in my skin already. This face cream is extremely moisturising without feeling greasy or oily. My dry flaky patches of skin have disappeared and redness across my tzone greatly reduced. I have been using this on an evening before bed and my face still feels smooth and hydrated by morning! I will definitely be continuing to use this all throughout winter. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
