I swapped the hydrating Cerave cleanser for this and it was the only new product in my routine and within a week I got horrible breakouts... I am really mad because I had such high expectations for this cleanser

Despite being in my 60s, I have been suffering breakouts on my cheeks - slightly red, slightly bumpy spots. Retinol didn’t shift them and neither did a salycilic acid. Within two weeks of using this, they had cleared up. It leaves my skin feeling slightly tight after washing, but that is easily solved with a serum or moisturiser. Impressed.

I love the CeraVe range so thought I'd try the smoothing cleanser as I had two rather large hormonal chin lumps. After the first use the lumps looked better, as did the rest of my skin, so I bought the smoothing cream too. Best prices around, thank you Look Fantastic. New favourite cleanser.

I have dry to very dry and sensitive skin. Having loved the hydrating cleanser many other Cerave products, having dry skin I didn't think I would ever be able to use a cleanser with salicylic acid, I thought I'd give this cleanser a shot anyway. I used a second cleanse after a balm to remove make-up and SPF. WOW! Upon the first wash, I noticed my skin was smooth and bright and didn't feel dry or tight in the slightest.

I use a lot of skincare, and I’m talking A LOT. Could probably give Mrs Hirons (QUEEN) a run for her money tbh. I have a combination/dry skin type. I would go a step further to put myself in the category of a “confused skin”. You name it, I’ve got it. From Keratosis Pilaris, eczema, rosacea, blemish prone etc etc. Luckily I’m quite good at keeping it all at bay. Firstly, the SA range from Cera Ve is PHENOMENAL! I haven’t used such straight forward, effective products as this since I don’t know when. I’ve had a breakout on my chin since March, which I haven’t been able to shift whatsoever (100% linked to hormones and stress).. my keratosis has been the worst ever.. and my usual holy grails just couldn’t tackle it, my skin has just freaked out quite frankly. I wanted to try this range for the longest time, but wasn’t available in the U.K. luckily I saw, Queen Caroline Hiron’s post about it on Instagram... Obviously purchased immediately. Well, within 3days of using this and the sa cleanser my skin is clear, texture refined, balanced and moisturised! I use it head to toe.. which not even I can comprehend as I’m a total skincare junkie, and the fact that just two simple products are doing it all, amazes me. Seriously wonder products. I’m not a foaming cleanser lover and I loathe dimethicone based anything. These however are fantastic. The cleanser isn’t drying, the moisturiser isn’t claggy and doesn’t pill up. Plus it actually keeps my skin hydrated all day long, without making me oily or breakout. I just can’t say enough good things. If you’re looking at your skin and thinking “where do I start!?” Start here! Thankyou Cera Ve and look fantastic for bringing it to us! X

I have Seborrhoeic Dermatitis and Rosacea and this is the only face wash suitable for both conditions. Gentle but effective well done CeraVe for saving my skin
