Still on the fence with this one

I'm not totally sure about this. It's a good, thick cream, and my skin is definitely benefiting from this moisturiser in some ways- my skin doesn't get as dry the next day and it's visibly brighter. But I'm also breaking out in very small spots, which is unusual and nothing else about my skincare routine has changed. I can't say for certain that it's because of this moisturiser, but I can't pin it to something else either.

Should say this Clinique Nigh recovery moisturizer is my discovery. I have a dry face skin, except for T-zone, which makes it somewhat difficult to pick the right type. I 've chosen "very dry to dry combination" and my skin is perfectly moisturized in the dry areas without any undesirable excess oil in the T-zone.
