I was after a black lip balm and this was perfect, I like to add it on top of lip pencils/ lipsticks to make them darker. It’s nice on its own too but it’s beautiful when added to pink/nude lipsticks

Lovely shade

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. A black tinted lip balm that isn’t just a really dark shade of red (like the viral Clinique black honey) It’s black, pigmented but sheer, moisturising and gives an edgy look without being harsh like solid black lipstick. I’m not a huge fan of the smell, it smells really sweet which isn’t my thing, but I can live with it and to each their own.

On my bare lips it doesn't do anything for me, but I use it over my purple lipsticks and it makes a gorgeous difference. I imagine it would look gorgeously vampiric over a red lipstick.

Brilliant for 90s grungy edge

Lovely as a lip-topper to deepen whatever colour you’re wearing under it but especially wonderful alone for a 90’s/00’s grungy edge.  We warned, it’s quite moisturising and will breakdown and really reduce the wear of  longwearing/matte lippies.. possibly best over a lip stain thinking about it.

great tint, but less forgiving.

the tint is pretty much exactly what i wanted; very pigmented, the colour lasts, very pleasant sweet-vanilla scent,]and feels great when applied. the trouble is applying it: the stick is completely flat, and the formula is a bit difficult to apply evenly. definitely exfoliate before you apply. that being said, i've already ordered another as a back up.
