3I bought this product based on the recommendation of Look Fantastic Live Chat. I usually purchase Skin Base 06 but asked if 05 would be better coming into the winter months where my skin is naturally lighter. The expert agreed and I continued to purphase. Unfortunately I have recently started using the 05 and its a lot darker than 06 which doesn't make sense to me. I bought the 06 in the past and I've been impressd with the shade, coverage and durability but unfortunately this shade is too dark for me to use.

5Really lightweight even coverage and easy to apply . Perfect match for my skin tone after searching for years for the right foundation. Would recommend this product to anyone. Great quality for a great price .

Best Foundation Ever
5The Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation has the best even, full, yet lightweight coverage I have ever experienced with Foundation. It still looks fantastic and unchanged 12 hours + after applying! Meaning I do not have to touch up my makeup during the day. I haven’t changed foundation since I started buying this product 3/4 years ago as it’s unrivalled! 100% recommend this product! 5*

Perfect- but dry skin may be an issue
5When I first used this it looked patchy and I was very disappointed. However, recently after using Vitamin C serum for my dry/maturing skin, it now looks absolutely stunning. High coverage without cakiness, good colour match, photographs very well. It's the foundation I've been looking for for years and I've tried them all!

Amazing
5My favourite ever foundation I swear by this, I have oily and sometimes acne prone skin and this helps to cover my face perfectly without feeling heavy or sticky I love it!

BUILDABLE
5I love this foundation, it’s my go to in my makeup kit as suitable for so many skin types. Love how buildable it is, for a light coverage to a heavier makeup look- totally flawless. I love to use with illamasqua hydra veil primer first.

wierd but it works!
5Shade 01, yes it is as pale as it looks, milky white, think geisha or clown white, but it works. Probably shouldn't be classed as a foundation, more of a concealer/sculptor. It takes my face back to base, no more reds, blues, just a flat, pale colour which I can then add my foundation to for a flawless finish. Got a sample from illamasqua first to try my theory as to why such a colour exists
