I have been using Kerastase for more than 25 years and in my opinion there is nothing that comes close to it.  Something for every type of hair.

High hopes

I had extremely high hopes for this shampoo considering the amount of reviews but honestly, don’t bother wasting your money. I have had problems with shampoo’s giving me dry tight scalp and build up and am constantly searching for a good shampoo. This did nothing. The smell of the shampoo is amazing which is why I have given it two stars but other than that it did nothing. This completely stripped my scalp of any moisture which would be good if you tend to have an oily scalp.

From time to time my scalp is irritated, itchy and sore probably my own fault for putting my hair up damp but after a few washed with Dermo-calm it’s back to normal. I just other kerastase aswell but I always have this to hand.

I pair this with my scalp scrubber and get such soft hair and a soothed scalp. I get psoriasis on my scalp and this is one of the only shampoos that doesn’t irritate it!

Best shampoo I’ve found for my psoriasis

Having suffered for years from psoriasis really badly on my scalp and always worse in the winter months as my skin dries out. This is the first shampoo that I have found that doesn’t make me want to constantly itch at my scalp. It lasts for ages and I would highly recommend to anyone who suffers psoriasis on their scalp or even behind their ears (I also suffer here)

I have a sensitive scalp and thought this would relieve some of the itching. It’s actually too strong for my hair (which is thick but not oily/greasy) and was causing it to be dry. I’d be careful before ordering this and speak to a hairdresser or salon before you do to check it’s suitable for your hair type
