5I have bought this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod after reading numerous reviews. Even though it's pricey, it is really good and it does an excellent job. My hair is very thick and frizzy, used to be straight but it's gone a bit wavy after 2 pregnancies, and it's not straight and not curly, it's sort of in between, so I need straighteners all the time. The steam pod is excellent! I had been using it for a few weeks weeks and it does last 3 or 4 days, it would probably last longer if I wouldn't have to wash my hair. My hair feels healthy and looks shiny after using the steam pod without using any other products. I did buy and use the cream from the same range but that is it, and the result is great! Bottom line, my hair feels healthy and it stays straight between washes, and I save time by not having to straighten my hair every day

L'Oreal Steampod
5I bought the L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod after reading previous reviews and I'm so glad that I did because it is amazing! I, like other reviewers, thought that other hair straightening brands could never be bettered, but after using the Steampod I have converted. I have thick hair and other straighteners can leave the ends looking frazzled, with the Steampod my hair feels sleek but without the frazzled look. It does take a little while to get used to as you have to put it through the hair in a certain direction but you soon get used to it. It's the best purchase ever!

Perfect
5I have chemically relaxed my hair many times in my life always aiming for that perfect straight shiny hair which was never really the case. I am going to the salon on a weekly basis using the normal ceramic flat iron which is drying and burning my hair especially the ends, in spite of using the heat protection spray. I was informed by the steampod in another salon. Never heard of it before although I have been going all my life to hairdressers. Tried it yesterday for the first time. The result was noticeable, I could see it and feel it. I keep touching my hair as it is shiny, straight, soft to the touch in comparison to the day before where it was dry, thick and had no shine at all. I would never go back to the ceramic flat iron as the keratin cream nourishes the hair, makes it soft, repairs it, stays in your hair, and I know now that I will never relax my hair chemically again nor use the ceramic flat iron to burn my hair. I am a sufferer of thick, coarse, curly hair all my life but now with the right cut and the right tool, I am definitely able to grow my hair longer and enjoy it. Nobody can tell now that I have such bad hair really. I will buy it also for home use in between in case I need it. Thanks L'Oreal for fulfilling our wish to have nice shining looking hair. Of course, the serum as a finish product contributes to the shine.

Perfect straightener!!
5L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is way more perfect than expected, I'm now just having the perfect hair that I always wanted. I've just fell in love with this steampod!

L'Oréal steampod
5I bought my L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod after it being used on my hair at my friend's salon and it is the beat money I've spent in ages. My hair has never been in better condition. I did a lot of research and the deal from look fantastic was the best on the net, I ordered my product in the morning and it was dispatched the same day brilliant service and brilliant product.

The best!
5Did lots of research before buying this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod - and I am really pleased I did - the Steampod is unique after years of straightening, my hair is softer and feels less damaged compared to ceramic straightener. It feels and looks as good as after being to the salon. It is bulky and takes a bit of getting used to using and is not for traveling, but for at home it is brilliant and doesn't take any longer than usual straighteners. The style lasts for 2-3 days, my ends don't have that fried look and actually looks healthier. I use it at the lowest setting 170 C and that is good on my coloured thick hair. I have a layered bob style - I don't know that it would work well on short hair. Highly recommend!

I didnt believe it...
4I admit that when I bought the L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod I didn't believe I could find a better straightener than my usual one. At first the Steampod is a bit heavy but soon you totally forget about that. When I straighten my hair, everybody thinks I went to the hairdresser. I have shiny and soft hair, straight until the next shampoo. I can't give the product 5 stars, as firstly it takes too much room so I can't curl my hair.

5This L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is a fantastic product. I have very coarse, frizzy hair that has been severely damaged by years of straightening. Although I knew my ghds weren't doing my hair any good, I didn't think I'd find anything better - then the Steampod came along! It makes my hair look sleek and swishy, and most importantly, it stays that way until I wash it. It is very bulky - I don't think I'd take it traveling - and it can be awkward to do the back of the head because you have to use them at a certain angle for them to work, but hopefully practice will make perfect. Don't hesitate - buy buy buy!

5I am so pleased with my L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod. It keeps my hair straight from wash to wash and makes my hair feel like silk.

Wonderful
4From someone that uses hair straighteners on a daily basis and tested them all, this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is by far the best. The ends of my hair are left soft and undamaged and my hair is shiny. However, the slight niggles I have are that the process takes too long so for an emergency, meaning I often have to resource to my old straighteners. I also have curly hair and it is very difficult to bring the steampod close to my roots because of the way its built and unfortunately it's not really travel friendly due to its size and time it takes to use. I assume that at some point Loreal will release an improved version, fixing at least one of these issues, and I will definitely buy the new improved version. Dont let the price scare you though, its worth every penny!
