I usually love La Roche-Posay, especially the Cicaplast baume so I was really excited to try this product. However, it is AWFUL. Firstly, I was really disappointed to see it contains SLS but then it completely dried my skin out. My face and neck have even become flaky and eczema-like since using it. Discontinued use immediately. Definitely wouldn't recommend

I think there are better cleansers for sensitive skin out there - and the inclusion of SLS in the ingredient list is a bit disappointing as this is quite a stripping ingredient.

I have very dry, sensitive, acne prone skin (and I currently have very active acne) so I bought this as I had heard it was great for sensitive skin. Unfortunately this product has seriously irritated and dried out my skin, making it sore and encouraging more breakouts. This is really disappointing as I had heard a lot of great things, and maybe it is just my skin, but I personally would not recommend if you also have acne as it seems way too harsh.

This face cleanser is so good i bought it initially because I had a rash on my face and irritation but it also worked really well on my sisters eczema that is pretty serious at times but it managed to do the job and worked brilliantly I would highly recommend for people who suffer from sensitive skin, irritation or eczema as well !

Perfect for sensitive skin

So glad to have finally found my perfect cleanser! I have suffered from eczema for years and through the use of steroid creams my skin is really sensitive. This doesn’t sting at all and I can see such a difference. My skin feels so clean afterwards and doesn’t leave that horrible tight and dry feeling of other cleansers. Great price too!

I like to use this face wash in my evening routine. I have to admit that the fact it's marketed as antibacterial has influenced this purchase. I work a customer facing job, wear a mask pretty much daily and thought this would help with battling and preventing mascne. And to be fair, I've not had spots around my mouth in a while, just hard to say if it's thanks to this product alone. One thing for sure, I've been picking at my face less as I don't want it to sting when washing my face so it's definitely helped me hehe

I’ve needed an additional cleanser since getting a few spots on my chin from wearing a mask a lot of the time. I don’t generally suffer with spots but since I have this has kept them all at bay. I use the effaclar duo + after to moisturise and my skin feels so smooth! Would recommend!
