I have been using it for 2 years now, and it really has helped reducing my acne marks and I don't have breakouts that often with the help of it. I feel that it has cleared my pores. Compared to the Effaclar K, I like it better. Will keep purchasing it.

Makes my skin less oily but doesn't fade my scars significantly

I had high expectation on Effaclar Duo+ because of all the raves about it on the internet. L a Rcohe-Posay claims that what marks the difference between Effaclar Duo and Effaclar Duo+ is the anti-mark formula in the Duo+ version so I had high hope on it to fade my old acne scars. However, it disappoints me because it doesn't significantly fade my acne scars as it claims. I've been using this every night so far for 9 days and I will still use it to see the result of longer usage. Perhaps my disappointment stems from its claim about "localised imperfections appear significantly reduced" after 8 days' of use. The word "significantly" is definitely an over-exaggeration. Though, it does make my oily skin less oily and more matte. In fact, my skin feels a bit dry after applying this on my face. I feel that my skin is not moisturised enough after using this. I think normal/dry skin people out there may not want this because of its drying property, though it's a holy grail for oily skin people like me! :)

This is my 2nd purchase of this product (and 2nd review)!! This stuff is greatttt at clearing up face and has done wonders on my skin. I normally use twice daily, in the morning under my make up, and in the evenings at night. The application is controllable, and the product is a light cream that easily absorbs into the skin and tackles break outs. My skin is a lot clearer now and my pores are a lot clearer x
