Moisturiser or Primer

I love the La Roche-Posay range and wanted to try something to reduce the shine throughout the day, which it kind of does. This product wasn't a good Moisturiser for me, felt it dried out my skin but it does make for a good primer after using an alternative moisturiser.

I have very oily skin and found that works well as a mattifying moisturiser immediately after using, though I did not feel that it kept my skin matte throughout the day. It does feel nice and moisturising but does not leave a tacky sheen like most moisturisers. There is a light fragrance, which worried me a bit but I have not found it to be irritating so far. I’m not sure how this would work as a primer, as I have found that it does ball up a little as you rub it.

I’m on my second tube of this and so far it’s really good. I use it along with the La Roche Posay Effaclar clarifying lotion (which is nothing short of a miracle product) and the combo is working really well on what was very spotty & shiny skin. The clarifying lotion has made a significant difference to my spots and this is great as a matt finish moisturiser. A winning combo!

Don't expect matt

Great product, but perhaps would be more suitable for people with dry skin. I got oily skin and I bhought it for matte function which is promised, but I feel it does quite the opposite. Perfect primer under make up.

Great moisturiser and primer

Love this moisturiser. I have combination skin and particularly struggle with oily areas where I get break outs. Have tried loads of expensive brands but this by far works the best. Using this alongside the blemish cream has worked wonders.
