overhyped
1So I was on the look out of for a new highlighter as I have hit pan on my favourite one, so I decided to buy this one as I have heard very good reviews about it. I got the illuminator in the shade Ballerina. Quick delivery but I can honestly say that this is the worst illuminator/highlighter I have ever used in my life. I knew that I was going to be disappointed as soon as I swatched it on my finger and there was hardly any product coming off onto my hand. So the next day I used it again with several different brushes to apply it on the top of my cheekbones and literally NOTHING. Nothing doesn't even describe it. You may as well just send me an empty box with bubble wrap as that seems to me more useful than this illuminator. The fact that I spent so much money this product disappoints me because I can guarantee you will find a better one in any drugstore, or even if you just put vaseline on your cheeks; even that will give you more of an effect than this product. Just for reference- I am of an asian/indian skintone but quite fair and my mac shade is NC25 Overall, this product is the worst thing I ever purchased and I can't even return it as I have used it now. I suggest you get a sample if you're interested in this before you actually buy this piece of garbage. That is all.

My Favourite Highlighter
5This highlighter is by far my favourite! Such a lovely colour and goes on really well. Works all over the face without looking too harsh. A must have!

Gelato Swirl
4This item is okay as a highlighter but there's a bit too much glitter in it for me and I find that it works better as an eyeshadow when wetted. Unlike most Laura Geller face products this does not have a mirror in the lid and looks cheap and plasticky
