Not quite!
3I love the smell of this cleanser and how it makes my skin feel smooth and soft after use. However it makes my eyes red, sore and sting beyond belief. I’m not sure if it’s the fragrance or general formulation. My eyes are streaming as I type this and I used it 35 minutes ago!

lovely glowing skin
5I bought this product on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I use this as a first cleanse in the evening as it takes off the spf i wear, them follow with a jelly cleanser. My skin feels so soft and it glows. It smells lovely and its never a chore putting it on.This would be better in a tub form as it can be a little hard to get out but that's not a problem.

Greasy & Pointless
1I am an absolutely cleanser freak , so have tried many and I have to sadly say this is one of the worst. It doesn’t do anything for my skin at all. The texture is just so greasy yet doesn’t seem to clean your face or break down dirt or make up. The only good thing is the smell. I have used Clinques take the take off balm cleanser for 7 years and always to back to this , if your looking for a balm cleaner I wouldn’t recommend Lumene , try Clinque instead

Nice, but not a favourite
3I love Lumene products and a cleansing balm is a must-have in my routine, but this did not live up to my expectations. The balm itself has a nice, refreshing, almost lightly citrusy smell and it is a little gritty. The packaging is nice, I prefer this to a tub. Unfortunately, the balm doesn't melt on the face as well as others I've tried and it takes a bit of effort to work it into my skin. The gritty bits don't fully melt away and the whole experience is less balmy as I would like. After taking it off with a muslin cloth, my face feels clean but not as soft and supple as I've experienced with similar products. It didn't fully take my face makeup off, so I use it as a morning cleanse. It does the job but overall I was underwhelmed.

A glow-getter!
4A relatively unheard of brand to me; however, it’s true what they say about the quiet ones! This cleansing balm has a similar consistency to the Elemis balm, its luxurious, melts into the skin giving a spa-like experience. The results were bright, thoroughly cleansed skin that felt soft and cared for.
