Medik8 - the best retinol

I’ve been using this product for the past 5 years and it is definitely the best retinol I’ve ever used. Clears my skin and also makes it so soft.

I've only been using for about 2 weeks and I'm gradually phasing it in. I haven't given it a 5 star because of this reason but in the short period that I've been using, my skin is dramatically different. I have large pores which seem to have reduced, along with blackheads on my nose and chin. My skin seems all one colour and texture as apposed to pink and blotchy with dry/oily patches. I have a few little marks from spots and breakouts which also seem tamed. I have very oily, breakout prone and sensitive skin so I'm really particular about what goes on my face. I usually buy oil free products for this reason but this is an exception. I was worried my skin would feel greasy but it does absorb and my skin looks lovely and dewy with a glow. I've received quite a few comments about my skin this week at work. I purchased the CSA Eye Kit and the Toner which are also lovely, too. I'm 26 so wrinkles aren't really an issue yet but I wanted to start introducing a gentle retinol into my skin routine as a preventative measure and I have to say so far I'm impressed. My eyes seem brighter, dark circles reduced and again a nice even skin tone. The toner smells very planty and natural which I love! It's early days but so far I'm really liking Medik8 products and that's coming from someone with difficult skin!

I love this serum.! Its an oily texture so you really don't need alot I use 3 to 4 drops every evening leave it for 15mins before applying my moisturiser on top.! I wake up with soft,glowy skin it also helps so much with my hormoanal acne around my jaw and chin area. Dont not use around eyes or mouth as it will flake and he dry

Great starter retinol!

I'd never used retinol before in my skincare routine but decided to introduce it with this product as I'd been noticing my skin had lots of clogged pores and was showing some slight signs of ageing (as I approach 30 in a few months!). I introduced slowly as recommended (twice a week for 2 weeks, then every other night for 2 weeks, then daily) and it hasn't irritated my skin at all or caused any redness/flakiness as I had expected. It hasn't helped too much with clogged pores but my skin definitely looks smoother, glowy and have noticed an improvement in texture! Definitely recommend if looking to start using retinol for the first time.
