Always a fave
5Everyone should have a bottle of Moroccan oil. The light version is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want hair to feel “weighed down by proudcts. I apply morning and night focusing on my ends. I wash my hair every 3rd day and it never leaves it greasy. It’s just that product everyone’s hair needs. I’ve tried other brands and to be honest they do not have a patch on the original.

5Love this product and haven’t found an alternative as good. I have fine, wavy blonde hair and it leaves it stronger, not greasy and perfect for me.

Prefer the original
3Order the light by accident. Definitely not as nourishing as the normal version but still smells & feels nice.

Fabulous product
5Received a small sample of the original oil which I loved. However decided to try the light version as have blond/grey hair and it’s amazing. Hair is so easy to style after use and feels so soft and smooth. Highly recommend.

Moroccanoil Treatment Light
5I have to say that this is the best hair oil for my fine hair. I tried a lot of different hair oils as I love to try different products but the full size of this oil is always in my shelf and a small size in my bag. It leaves my hair ends very smooth and it actually acts a treatment to my hair. My hair is very healthy now but when it was over processed with keratin smoothing treatment and blond coloration this moroccanoil has helped to save my hair and bring it hack to life. I can't recommend enough.

5I’ve been using Moroccanoil now for a few months, this is my second bottle (it lasts ages) my hair is long and coloured blonde so can get quite dry on the ends. Since using this I’ve noticed it feels healthier and is growing. I use it on both wet and dry hair. On wet hair through the ends before styling, it helps to remove tangles, and on dry hair to tame the frizz and treat ends in between washes. Just 1-2 pumps is enough and doesn’t make hair feel greasy.

Nothing like the original
1I bought this based upon the fact that I have fine blonde hair and I find the original Moroccanoil a little heavy and greasy. This did not nothing for my hair at all and in fact made it feel drier and frizzier than normal. I contacted Moroccanoil and this was their response: “we created the Moroccanoil Treatment Light to give consumers with platinum or very fine hair another option to our Original Oil treatment. This Light Oil Treatment is lighter in formulation, texture and color but offers the same results as the Original Moroccanoil The Moroccanoil Treatment Light will deliver the same benefits as the original but is catered to people with fine or light colored hair. It is an ultra-light formula that is lighter in formulation, texture, and color than the Moroccanoil Treatment Original. Please be advised that the light treatment is for platinum blonde hair, but if the original Moroccanoil has been used before, they should stick with it and not change it. The light is 40% less concentrated to maintain the platinum blond color, however not every platinum blond and fine hair has to have the Light Treatment. Many can use the regular and if the regular is doing a good job, then they should keep it. Please be advised the light treatment is for platinum blonde hair, and not necessary to all blonde or fine hair.”
