My son who has greasy hair likes this charcoal shampoo which effectively removes impurities. However, I find it too dry because I have permed my hair. Still, I re-purchased it for my son.

Good residue remover

Aside from being quite difficult to lather up, it is a good residue removing shampoo, after use, my hair felt clean and free of hair products. I would not use every time I wash my hair as I feel it would strip the moisture out of my hair, as after washing it felt quite dry before I put conditioner on my hair.

This shampoo works like magic to remove products, such as hairspray, gel, mousse, to leave your hair ready to start again. I use a small amount first, followed by a second wash with my favourite shampoo and conditioner. Really makes a difference to my hair which is fine and needs washing every 1-2 days. It’s gentle but highly effective if you use lots of different products that can weigh down and dull your hair.
