5I loved olaplex No.3 and 7. They completely changed the way my hair used to look. My hair is now shiny and soft.

No 7 broke my hair
1I treated myself to the bonding oil to protect my hair from The heat of the hair drier. The very first time I used it, it made my long hair dry and brittle, and within a few days I had severe breakage all the way up my hair. A week later I have had to cut off about 6 inches and the rest of my hair is brittle and still breaking. I'm heartbroken. I have written to Olaplex directly. I am 59 with fine hair so perhaps it's not suitable for all hair types. Perhaps if you have thin hair you could do a strand test to avoid a hair disaster.

Yet to Decide
3Yet to decide, still experimenting - the No.3 instructions to dampen hair, then apply have proven challenging with the unruly thick impenetrable mop that is my hair, so I’ve washed first, then left and washed again. Also tried leaving in after I’d washed, which had ok results, although on both occasions felt quite heavy on my hair. I usually air dry and plait to give structure and control, but it may work more magic if I straighten my hair with straighteners. The Oil is a versatile product one can use on hair or nails, it’s light, but super rich so one only needs a small amount even with my thirsty hair.

Hair helpers
3I've been a convert for Olaplex No 3 for the best part of a year now. I have dyed blonde hair which is prone to dryness and breaking (despite the care it gets) so No 3 is a godsend especially in Covid times when I couldn't get to a hairdresser for my regular cut. I decided to go for this bundle to try out the bonding oil. I will say I am not huge on the oil on it's own. I find it difficult to apply evenly. I have been adding a few drops to a John Frieda hair serum which has had a good impact on my hair. I can leave my hair down now rather than it needing to be up from looking frizzy. This is especially good as it's helped me space out mask treatments for No.3

5My curly, dry, crispy hair “approving” Olaplex no 3. Not making a miracle, but way much softer, and easier to brush them after treatment. Oil is heaven, best oil ever (depending on what I was using before).

Amazing
5I higly recomend Olaplex nr 3! It does amazing things to a damaged hair like mine, that has been bleached. I honestly believe that without Olaplex I would have been in a situation where I would have cut my hair short in order to save it. It is the first time I have used the oil Olaplex7, and I am impressed as well.

Wonderful for split ends
5Olaplex 3 has saved my hair during lockdown. After the first use, all my split ends were repaired - I have long coloured treated hair. Olaplex 7 is a nice addition, although the bottle is small I think it'll last for a few months.

Magic
5I'm doing the heat free challenge. This oil is really light yet really effective. Removed all frizz, smoothed hair. I've used it on dry and wet hair. For all I've not used any heat it looks as though I've had a blow wave at a salon. I've hair type 2a-c, just passed my shoulders and very fine. I was worried it would be too heavy and make my hair lank like other oils. I've tired nothing like it. I've recommended it to everyone!!!
