Soothing and hydrating - doesn't seem to leave even a clear cast or pill and really helps my dry patches and redness caused by rosacea flare-ups or hormonal acne. Can't speak to longer-term benefits yet, but I am liking it as an addition to a new skincare regime - also seems like a good alternative to snail mucin for anyone who may be allergic or just can't get to grips with that.
