had a really itchy scalp all the time but since i have been using Redken Scalp relief it is now fine. i used to feel embarassed about the itching and it is really such a relief not to have it. this shampoo certainly lives up to its name. thanks Redken your a STAR

After looking on Google for a product to ease my itchy scalp I came across this. Wasn't the cheapest product but I am glad I made the investment. It felt calming on my scalp and smelt lovely. I have been using for 2 weeks and have noticed a massive difference.

I bought this shampoo after trying many other fancy stuff to heal my dandruff. But this one actually worked. I noticed my hair a lot less greasy after the first usage. The smell is not so perfumy as it smells something like medication, but is not bad at all. My husband is also using it and we are very happy with the results. Definitely buying again.

A big improvement!

My scalp goes through phases of having patches of itchy, flaky areas. My go-to shampoo from L'Oréal seems to have been discontinued and my bathroom cupboard is full of a variety of half empty bottles that have been tried and tested but have been ineffective on my scalp. I decided to try this one by Redken; initially it didn't seem to be making much difference but I've now almost reached the end of the bottle and it actually reduces almost all of the itchiness and any flakes are massively reduced. I swapped to a different shampoo for a couple of days and my scalp reacted immediately, so I went straight back to this product. Overall it isn't quite perfect but it is the best one I have come across so far and will be repurchasing!

My scalp has been really irritated since giving birth a few months ago - feel like this has been down to hormonal changes. That’s why I invested in this shampoo. It is a little pricey but has soothed my scalp completely - doing exactly what it says on the label. My scalp is calm and no longer irritated, would highly recommend.

Disappointed - not as good as other products

I have been using Redken products for years and have always loved how my hair feels after using them.  My hair is naturally dark and is bleached and toned to a very light ash blonde. Unfortunately, after a bad experience with a hairdresser burning my scalp during bleaching, I’ve ended up with a permanently irritated and flakey scalp.  I tried a number of products which worked for a while, but the sensitivity and flaking came back. After a quick look into my trusted brand I came across this product and hoped it would finally help my problem. Unfortunately it seems that it has made it worse, my whole head is now constantly itchy and the flaking is worse than ever. Even when my hair is wet after washing there are very visible flakes.  I have turned to using a well advertised Anti-dandruff product from the supermarket, which seems to be doing a much better job at soothing my scalp.

Great relief for greasy scalp

I have greasy hair prone to hair loss. Adding to the problem is my grey roots which means I have to die it monthly. All these mean I have to wash hair more frequently than I would like. This product brought relief on first application-my scalp immediately felt fresh and uplifted as if all the weight had been taken away! It also has a natural herbal smell that is so different from the other products that are heavily perfumed with chemicals. I can wait 4-5 days before I have to wash it. Highly recommended!
