Not suitable for women of colour unless you’re happy to look chalky
2I’d carefully reviewed the various recommended sunscreen options online including Vogue Beauty and selected this product predominantly because of the reports that it would not cause that chalky effect and then because of its multi protection and conservation boasts. The latter might be true, but even when you apply the product in accordance with on box instructions, you will still look like you’ve applied a weird white paste on your face. Very disappointed because it isn’t cheap. I will be donating this to a lucky Caucasian friend.

As far as SPF goes, this is really nice!
5I wanted to start using a separate broad spectrum SPF but was hesitant because I have oily skin and didn’t want any extra shine or clogged pores. I found this to be really nice - it’s mattifying enough for me, doesn’t feel heavy and has a nice light scent. I think the price is a little steep but definitely something I’d buy again when there’s a discount.

disappointed
1I normally love Ren products so was excited to try this. However, its very thick and quite claggy. If I just wear this with no make up over it I look really white and my skin stays tacky all day. It also has a really strong, quite herbal like smell which I'm not a fan of. I'll finish the tube as I don't like waste but won't be buying it again

1Was excited to try this as I love everything REM comes out with but sadly was disappointed. Really difficult to blend it your skin and it also leaves a white cast on :(

Satisfied with the gentle ingredients and texture.
5I bought this for myself but once I had my mother try some she absolutely loved it and had it confiscated hahaha. The texture is soft and easy to spread and it feels nourishing for my mother's mature and dehydrated skin. It has a dewy but matt finish. The light herbal? scent doesn't cause a headache and it's as gentle on the skin as the rest of REN's products. Perfect for daily use. There is a white cast but that's to be expected since this is a mineral non-tinted sunscreen. It becomes less severe when one pats it in but it's definitely something to be warned of if you are darker toned!

Great product!
5Having used a moisturiser by REN for 6 months now I purchased the SPF in the hope it would be just as good. I haven’t been disappointed! A beautiful product. Great texture, not greasy and a subtle pleasant smell. Good under makeup. Highly recommend!

Great SPF
5Relatively fast-absorbent and fragrance-free SPF; leaves a bit of a white cast, which disappears within 10 minutes of application, so just in time for one to leave out of the door!

White cast and not for under makeup
2This product didn't.work on me. It left a very obvious white cast. It peeled Get being on a face an hour or so which meant it would never go under makeup. I have normal soon with a few dry areas. This is probably only suitable for very oily skin

Too white and sticky
2I find this leaves an obvious white cast on my face and I feel very sticky and tacky afterwards. Makeup doesn’t go on top of it very well. Would only wear if staying at home all day

Not keen
1This cream left my face pasty and pale. Even after hours my skin still felt tacky and sticky so I won't be using it again
