Changed my skin

I’ve always suffered from redness and dull skin but this product has completely changed that with almost instant results. Has also made my skin super soft, and make up applies so much smoother now!

Such a good 1% retinol treatment.. it's oil based so a little goes a long way and the bottle will last ages! Amazing used at night, skin is glowing in the morning. I've been using retinol from another brand for a while now and initially it can cause dryness and flaky patches, the oil seems to stop this problem and my skin seems so much more refined and smoother especially around fine lines. Really can't love this any more than I do, and at such a great price it's so worth trying, especially if trying retinol for the first time.

Concerned about the sun damage on my nose getting more noticeable I googled solutions and all pointed to retinol. Ordered this as cheaper than a prescription to give it a try. Wow! Noticed a difference to my skin just doing the patch test - and a noticeable improvement to my red, flaky sun damage after first application and is now barely visible after 2 weeks use. Had no reaction at all to it, I make sure I use an SPF15 moisturiser during the day and my skin is smoother than ever. Best skincare discovery I've made.

Buuut... This isn't fungal acne safe. Not an issue for most people (it didn't use to be an issue for me) but I just thought I'd mention it. The fa is currently under control but I feel like I can't risk it...* previously: this helped with fine lines and closed comedones, small bumps etc. I did however have to initially deal with peeling (despite having used other retinol products previously) so that's something to be aware of. *on my face. still use it on my stretch marks btw. Absolutely brilliant! Better than any ''anti-stretchmark'' product.

I really love this stuff and I’m on my second bottle. You get noticeable results with this practically overnight. It’s super hydrating thanks to the squalane. If you are not used to retinol you might get a bit of redness and sensitivity at first but you soon build the tolerance. It brings totally new levels of hydration and really seems to fight those lines. So cheap it’s ridiculous . What’s not to love!!

Giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because the delivery was excellent, the packaging is brilliant, it’s a great price, not used much for full coverage of my face so feel it will last a while and it looks great on my shelf...bit shallow but hey, the quest for a fine looking shelf is on everyone’s list yeah...? I have only used this once but I can say that my skin DEFINITELY looks better this morning....did the old selfie before and after and it has faded some marks on my face and reduced the different tones on my skin. I am new to all the potions of The Ordinary though so if anything changes I’ll update...
