Good basic foundation

Thought I’d try this as I like the Ordinary range and the price was very reasonable. I have to say It’s pretty good! I usually wear Estée Lauder double wear in shade Dawn or desert beige, but wanted a lighter coverage for summer, so opted for shade 1.2N. Ok, so it’s a bit lighter in colour than I would like, but it blends so beautifully and has such a light and creamy texture when applied, it seems to melt into your skin. Seems much more expensive than it is. I apply with a foundation brush and blend to get a good natural look. Definitely buying again, but will probably get a shade darker next time.

Ok but nothing special

Wanted something lighter than foundation as I've been makeup free since lockdown. My bad oily skin seemed to correct itself since I haven't been using makeup. However after always having worn makeup I feel so bare without it. So opted for this instead of a foundation. It goes on lovely. My skin felt amazing and it looked fresh. It also corrected my uneven skin tone. My face did start sweating half hour after wearing it (might be down to it being a slightly warmer day today) A couple of hours in I was back to being very very shiny. Having to blot my tzone. And it looked slightly dry in places. However it didnt irritate my skin and my boyfriend even said it looked nice despite him not liking normally foundation and preferring me without any. This is good for the price and for those who arent overly fussy when it comes to their foundation. Overall not a bad product especially for the price.

Very good

Medium coverage foundation that covers my blemishes really well and stays all day. Colour online was spot on but turned out to be a little pale for me but that’s the risk you take. The slight negative is that a lot of product comes out of the dispenser. Overall definitely recommended.

Amazing

Love the foundation, it’s full coverage for me the only thing I would say is the colour pallet isn’t great. They are dark I got colour 3 and I would of preferred the 2 I think even though I usually go for a medium tan, go a shade lighter!

Foundation Perfect For Dry Skin

I have combination to dry skin and my dry areas are mainly in my t zone. I’ve always struggled with foundations settling, creasing and looking rubbish, especially around my nose. I’d heard good things about this foundation and it’s changed everything! Not only is it dewy and a very good coverage, but I don’t get any creasing around my nose and chin. Although it had a buildable coverage it still looks natural. I would highly recommend it this foundation!

1.0NS

This is my go to foundation, to be honest. I usually use Charlotte Tilbury foundations (which I still love), but I actually mix the serum and coverage Ordinary foundations and I find it gives me a similar finish, and it lasts on my skin. I have dry, rosacea prone skin and this doesn’t cause any reaction, and feels comfortable on.

Horrible

The foundation was really weird on my face, did not cover almost anything and even after using primer I wasn't able to properly apply it on my face without having uncovered spots. It felt really unnatural and too watery? Comparing to different cheaper or similar price foundations such as Catrice or Revolution this one is not worth the money at all. Not recommended :/

Perfect for everyday use. Light and easy to apply- goes further than you’d expect. Very 😊

Love this!

I really like The Ordinary anyway, but I was a tiny bit dubious given the super low price of this foundation - I wanted something that evened my skin tone and covered blemishes but didn't make me look like I was caked in makeup. This foundation is perfect!! I have combination skin and while it doesnt do anything to mattify it, it doesnt make it any more oily. It gives great coverage and I hardly need to use any concealer once this is on. I would definitely recommend this especially as it is cruelty free and doesn't have many of the nasties that are in so many make up brands.
