A good palette, but not excellent
4I've had this palette for over a year now and every time I use it (most days) I'm drawn to compare it with the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette which I bought around the same time. Most of the colours in this palette are highly pigmented, but on my light olive skin the lightest colours (Blow, Nudie, Commando, Pre-game) have hardly any pay-off and when applied to the point that they do show up, they look grubby and not at all pleasing. I reach for the Zoeva shade Bitter Start to work as a matte highlight as the lighter colours in this palette just do not cut it. I use Tempted to define my naturally black eyebrows or under the eye. Instinct, Lethal, Extra Bitter, Faith and Lock Out work well on warm complexions, and Blackjack - the blackest black I've found - is great for the lash line and I will certainly purchase a single black shadow from UD when needed. The slate grey shade Magnet I've not used at all as I don't find it flattering on my skin tone. The brush is of good quality and quite nice to line under the eyes with, and another plus in the gorgeous packaging itself with a useful mirror. Longevity is excellent, but that is more attributed to the UD eye primer which I also use. So in conclusion, there are enough positives for me to be happy with this palette but if you're particularly looking for warmer brick tones plus some shimmery shades, I would recommend a look at the Zoeva palette which is better value for money in my opinion.

Perfect Palette!
5Shadows are highly pigmented and beautifully color-coordinated. The shadows can be used for day-to-night eye looks. The palette is an all-matte palette, contatining one shimmering shade good for highlighting or/and adding slight oomph to your look. I highly recommend the palette, even if you have all their palettes from the naked line (and I do have all).

Holly Grail Palette
5I have received this palette some weeks ago, and honestly i absolutely love it!! I completely forgot about my other makeup palettes. All the colors are useful for everyday make up, and very pigmented. I am impressed of the quality mostly, they feel like a velvet touch, blends amazingly. The brush included is also impressive, i love the precision short side. The packaging........... aaahhhhhhh, beautiful!!! Really worth the money. Made me look and want all the other make up products from Urban Decay too :)
