it says on the package that suitable for face and body, however, i would mostly use it for dry areas of the body, or for my face at night, but consistency is soooo thick that I have to sleep exclusively on my back. In the morning , after I wash my face, the skin is definitely nourished. Also, a very pleasant smell.

New holy grail

Took it on a 3 week trip to Tibet to the extremely dry high altitude environment and loved it. Now back in London it’s become part of my routine. I use it both on my hands and face. For the face I take a tiny amount and pat it on. It is insanely occlusive, but doesn’t break me out at all, while most heavy moisturisers do. I’m 37 and have dehydrated acne-prone combination skin, but now it has totally cleaned up and stopped peeling as I continue my new minimal routine after the trip: LRP tolersine Ultra 8 + the Ordinary Squalaine and seal everything off with Weleda Skin Food.

I’ve seen youtubers put this on their FACES? The only place I’m using this is on my knees - and it’s doing a good job of softening them up. It’s mega thick, smells gorgeous, but not really the product I thought it was going to be (a miracle moisturiser for the face). Might buy again to continue my knee fix project...

I was recommended this product and I am absolutely thrilled with it. Its quite thick going on but as its winter my skin really does soak it up it gives me a lovely dewy finish if I put it on under my foundation. Would defo recommend.

I originally purchased this moisturiser for daily and nightly use on my face. I love the smell and it certainly feels like it's nourishing my skin but it's so thick that it blocks my pores. Rather than using it for day-to-day moisturising, I now use it as a treatment on skin when it's dry. I will definitely re-purchasing when I run out!

The Name says it all

I work ALOT with my hand. Washing up, gardening, cleaning etc...after I wash my hands they are so dry! I just rub some Weleda Skin Food in and presto! my hands are so smooth and soft. It rubs in and absorbs complete not leaving a greasy feeling. But that is only if the skin you are using it on is really dry. I also use it once a week as a beauty treatment at night as a night cream. I am not prone to breaking out so if you are it may too oily for you. It's mad in Germany and all natural and I just adore it!!!

Since Burt's Bees discontinued their superb 'Evening Primrose night Creme' I've been searching for something to take its place. This is that product! It is thick and rich but sinks into the skin beautifully. It leaves the skin radiant and glowing, soft and moisturised. I use it happily on my face by rubbing between my fingers and patting on gently rather than rubbing. It is fantastic value for money and really does feel like you're feeding your skin :-)
