Effective
5Doesn’t break my skin out and removes make up effectively. I put a bit on my face, gently rub it in and then rinse it off in the shower. A little goes a long way and I think the charcoal ingredients have done better for my acne than the regular Clinique cleansing balm which I used previously. It’s cheaper than other cleansing balms such as Elemis which whilst are great are very similar products but for a lot more money than this Clinique one. Happy with my purchase and would re-buy when running low.

Will not re purchase
2Hi I love a good cleansing balm but this one feels a bit strange. Possibly the charcoal- it doesn’t feel rich and luxurious or like it’s really taking the day off- the whole process just felt a bit flat. It worked quite well, most of my makeup melted away but it weirdly didn’t feel like it was working. I would stick with the original versio .

5Love this stuff, on my 2nd pot now. Stong enough to melt a full face of make up and waterproof mascara, yet gentle enough not to irritate my sensitive combo skin. Leaves skin so soft. I use a cotton pad to scoop out, put on the face, then rub in with fingers. I leave it on for a minute or so. You don't need to use a lot of product either, which is great. I follow with a garnier sensitive cleanse wash, then clinique moisture surge.

It's ok.....
3I got this to try. It does remove make up but made my skin dry and irritated. I do have sensitive skin but i wish I'd bought the original version

Skin feels so soft!
4I usually use the Slaai makeup-melting butter cleanser by Drunk Elephant but fancied a change and this appeared to be a good alternative. I've only used the product twice as I don't wear makeup every day, only on weekends or special occasions, but it does make my skin feel super soft and prepped for my serum. Wishing it came with some sort of tool to scrape out the right amount but otherwise really happy with this purchase!

Nice cleanser
5I do not use this every day, I rotate with other cleansers. It is easy to use and takes off all my make up easily and well. My skin always feels clean and soft after use. It can be a bit messy, but worth it

First cleanse
5I bought this as a first step in my double cleanse routine. I have combination skin also have type 2 rosacea. I bought this as my skin has been slightly oilier of late which I’m putting down to the menopause. This really does melt off my spf and make up, I do have to go in again with a second cleanser for my mascara but I really like how it makes my skin feel soft after cleansing and how there’s no irritation or redness.
