Just wow
5I was using a heavier gold lid brand previously and it was just not suiting my skin anymore. This stuff is liquid gold! A bit more expensive but I got it on offer so wasn’t too much price difference! But was worth every penny!

Amazing for older skin
5I was really hesitant to purchase this as it is labelled as being matte and I have really dry skin , but the colour match looked so good I thought I would risk it and I am so glad I did ! It is absolutely beautiful, doesn’t settle into fine lines, lasts well and doesn’t make my face feel tight .,what more could I want !

Best foundation I've tried
5I have tried foundations in several brands and finally settled with this. It's not heavy to the skin makes my face look very natural. It provides a perfect soft glow.

5 star quality but beware of shades
5I used to wear the previous gold bottle version of this and I was shade 1 normally and shade 2 in the Summer. I recently bought the new matte version in shade 1N but it was a shade too dark, so I tried it in 0.5N but that was a shade too light. I then tried 1W but that was too dark golden so I have resorted to mixing 0.5N and 1N together. Although this makes it very expensive I think it's worth it because it is incomparably superior to any other high end foundation I have tried. It also wears for a full day on my oily skin unlike the gold bottle version. I also love how it smoothes the look of my skin and makes it appear lifted, with a subtle radiance and keeps my skin hydrated all day. I have never found a foundation that can do all of these things before, it is absolutely stunning. I would recommend getting colour matched if you can, sadly I don't have a Guerlain counter where I live so that wasn't possible. It also oxidises after around 5 minutes on the skin so allow the time for it to settle before deciding on the shade for you.

Amazing new find
5I had been looking for a replacement for my foundation for a while, but everything I tried seemed to end up coating my face like a mask and made me feel as if I needed a trowel to scrape it off each night. I decided to give the Guerlain matte foundation a try after seeing it advertised on IG and when LF also allowed me to use a discount code against it as well, I took it as a sign. The bottle it comes in is glass and really pretty with the gold lid. The foundation itself I have found that 1 pump is more than enough to cover your entire face and still give you that natural look. The foundation also creates a blurring effect on me, with it helping to hide any imperfections. It also has a floral-ish smell to it, but this dissipates once on. So Is it worth the money? For me I would say yes. I love the fact I only have to use a small amount, that it doesn’t sit in my lines and gives me that flawless natural look without any effort. So I would definitely purchase this product again in the future.
