Wow, so much more than just a hair straightener!
5Loreals professional steampod 3.0 has most certainly exceeded my expectations. It performs exceptionally well and delivers 100 percent. Before use, I make sure my hair is treated appropriately with a heat protectant and dried thoroughly. There are 3 temperature settings, I usually keep mine at 200 which is sufficient for my hair type. The water tank is so easy to remove and fill up with the water bottle that is supplied. It also quite easily snaps back in to place. There's also a removable comb, which sometimes I find easier not to use when straightening my hair. _x000D_ The steampod 3.0 may look like any other regular hair straightener but it's definitely far more superior in performance. It essentially uses steam to straighten hair fibres. My hair is not quite straight and has plenty of flyaways I have to deal with on a daily basis. Using the steampod has been a huge game changer for me. Not only have I noticed a massive difference in how long it now takes to straighten my hair, I have also noticed less damage, softer, fuller, and shinier hair, and less breakage! The steampod is so versatile; not only does it straighten my hair but also curls it! My hair has never looked so good and volumised before. I absolutely love it!

It’s a good product - with a few changes
3This product is a good product and I have definitely enjoyed using it and experimenting with it. I do find that curls last longer and it gives my hair a nice finish. There are a few things I find a bit irritating with it. Firstly, having to get special water to go into it is frustrating. I thought you would be able to use normal tap water in it and if they could do that instead it would be a lot easier. The other thing I find annoying is the comb tool. It is good that it forces you to make sure your hair is fully free of knots but for a product that is meant to be better for breakage, it seems that these almost put more strain on your hair and I have actually noticed little ends coming off when using it. I can’t say my hair is in any better or worse condition than when I started using it. It’s definitely more time consuming to use than just normal straighteners and I think when it breaks I probably won’t replace it. It’s a great concept but I think there needs to be these few changes to make it easier and better to use.

The Jury is Still Out
3As a long term fan of GHD straighteners I am still trying to get used to these. The straighteners themselves are quite large and also quite heavy. Apart from that they are a brilliant product. They straighten your hair very quickly and leave a lovely shine which is hard for a blonde like me. They promise these will improve the condition of your hair, which they seem to be after only a few uses. Are they worth the price? Only time will tell...

L’Oréal Steam Pod 3
5An absolute fantastic hair accessory and easy to use. On/off switch with light, three temperatures for different hair types I used 200’C as I have very fine hair. I also used a polishing nourishing milk to protect my hair. You can use this to straighten your hair by sliding out the comb very easily or leave it in to get the natural look of curls. You do need to use demineralised water which is available to help keep the appliance from clogging with lime scale, water bottle is also included which made it helpful to fill the water tank.

Was impressed, but
3So I purchased this rather expensive hair straightener having read various positive reviews and seeing various positive videos. I have mixed race hair, (black & Indian) no idea what number and letter of hair type I am. Anyway, I washed and dried my hair and used some Keracare Silk & Seal. I was very impressed with how straight each section of hair was, even with one pass and my hair looked better than when I use my other (well known expensive brand) straighteners. So I thought, wow, this is amazing. Anyway, off to work I went, thinking my hair looked fly, but by the time I got to work, it was a frizzy mess, luckily I’d bought a hair elastic with me, so I could put it in a ponytail. This never happened with my other straighteners! So on that basis, I’m not sure where I’ll go with these L’Oréal ones. I’ll try their recommended hair products and give it another go, but what occurred with my hair, was something I’d always wondered about steam straighteners, surely if you use wet steam, it’s bound to create frizz at some point and alas I was correct in my assumption.

Amazing
5Absolutely amazing ... I have very thick wavy hair which is very dry too After the first use my hair was so shiny and smooth ..is unbelievable. Not to mention how silky even after days Easy to use ...so quick ..only need 1 pull on a small section

Amazing 😉
5I have 4a-4b type natural Afro hair these L’Oréal steam straighteners straighten my natural hair perfectly. Immediately I noticed the texture was soft and light, no burning smell or smoke coming tomorrow the straighteners. I also purchased the blow out cream and hair serum which I would highly recommend, smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling light, soft and silky-straight. It’s been 4 days since I used the straighteners my hair is still straight and soft and frizz free! I’m so happy with my purchase. L’Oréal have done amazing with this invention. I love it!!

Finally
5I was a bit skeptical at the beginning so I've done a lot of research before purchasing the Steampod 3.0. It arrived quickly, nicely packaged and ,i kid you not,it did not disappointed me. I finally get the salon look at home. Easy to use and it definitely delivers. Smooth hair at the end,straight, less damage and shinier.

A game changer
5Had been looking at the SteamPod for a while before taking the plunge and wish I had done it sooner. They are an absolute game changer. I have highlighted thick frizzy hair and it takes me an age to straighten usually. The Steampod took half the time my cloud nines did to straighten and the results were amazing. Sleek shiny straight hair - I’m a convert!
