Great price point. Seen a noticeable difference in my skin and this is the 2nd time of purchase! Sometimes I experience a balling effect when applied to quickly after other serums. Just let everything sink in before applying and your all good!

Concentration is way too high

1

The concentration should be between 10 - 20% for Vitamin C, and this is 30% which is unnecessary and causes more stinging than it would do if the concentration was at a recommended level. The texture isn't pleasant and doesn't glide over skin well, it feels like a thick silicone layer which is sitting on my skin. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing this product.

I wanted to love it but...

2

I really wanted to love this product but it doesn’t feel like a serum at all, as the other reviews state, it’s like a chalky paste which is hard to rub in and clumps up easily. Most of the time it pills heavily when I put my other products on afterwards. I’ve found that almost every time I applied it, my skin got very stingy, I’ve heard from other people that this formula is very strong so I tried mixing it with my hylauronic acid and that seemed to make the stinging worse. I will not be repurchasing and probably won’t finish it as I haven’t noticed enough positive effects from this product to put up with all the downsides. I absolutely love the Inkey List normally but not sure I’d recommend this. Vitamin C Serums are so hard to find at a reasonable price and good quality unfortunately...

Simply AWFUL! Bad texture, doesn't absorb and BURNS!

1

I've never written a bad review on a skin care product before, but this vitamin C serum honestly isn't worth your money. It isn't like any other serum I've used. It feels more like a paste (similar to my toothpaste honestly) and feels really chalky, kind of like an ultra-fine grit. I could get on with the odd texture if it absorbs into the skin normally, but even with a small pea-sized amount it left a white cast on my skin (first time I've ever experienced this as even the palest shades of foundations are too dark for me sometimes). It wouldn't absorb into my skin and when I went to apply my moisturiser a few minutes later, I started getting clumps on my skin from where the products were forming solids. It just got worse throughout the day. It also burned worse than any product I have ever used, and my skin is not sensitive at all. I wouldn't even recommend this product to my worst enemy.

Best product used in a while!

I hadn’t used a vitamin C product before but my pigmentation had gotten quite bad and a friend recommended to try vitamin C. I opted for this serum as wasn’t too expensive and I I have to say I absolutely love it!! It has dramatically improved my pigmentation after a only month and has also helped brighten my complexion and reduce oiliness of my skin! Really great product - only downside is it has left orange stain under nails / on my bedding but results on my skin are amazing!!

Very disappointed and horrible texture

1

I bought this product as it says it can be used AM and PM unlike some other vitamin c products so thought it would be a good entry level product. The texture however is horrible, it's also nothing like a serum more like a paste with a chalky consistency, it has quite a horrible stinging feeling and made me break out in a rash. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

LOVE THIS

5

I have never used a vitamin C product before so i don't have much to compare to on that front, however...when using this product my skin feels ridiculously smooth and even my boyfriend commented on how soft and radiant my skin looked! It does have a slight tingle but not too much. I was worried it would make my skin look greasy with it saying to give you a glowing complexion, however i find this to mattify the oils in my skin but still give my skin a glowing clear look!

I have sensitive skin

5

I did use this and mix it in with my Hylaronic acid and it does have a slight tingle on contact. I have used vitamin c for a while now and was dubious of using this as I have really sensitive skin that breakout out easily but so far so good. I will keep using to see if it really works but I’m just happy I didn’t break out. Good delivery as usual.
